On the day of one of the biggest red carpet events of the year, Demi Moore tweeted that she wouldn’t be attending the Golden Globes with her husband because she was “having a bad hair day”. Good to know that even celebrities like Demi who are envied for their gorgeous manes can have an off day! But unlike Demi, don’t let a case of bad hair day blues keep you at home under the covers.

Beating the Bad Hair Day Blues:
For Straight Hair
Amy says, “When someone with straight hair says they’re having a bad hair day, they’re usually complaining about the lack of volume or oily and piece-y bangs.”
« To add volume to any style, Amy suggests spraying a dry shampoo, like Rene Furterer Naturia Dry Shampoo $24.00 by Rene Furterer at Skin Store over the hair focusing on the roots. Leave on for one minute then massage at roots and brush through. This will remove the “slip” off of straight hair and add more body to the style.

Then using a hair dryer and brush, brush the bangs over to one side and then the other. This will help them lay flat.

« And of course, if all else fails, resort to the classic pony. For Curly Hair
