Creed Fragrances ~ Royal Oud

By Speed Racer · November 16, 2011 · 0 Comments · 1,432 Views

Creed Royal Oud $300.00 by Creed at Bergdorf Goodman

“Wood, leather marble and gold,” elements of a royal Persian palace, inspire Olivier CREED, sixth-generation master perfumer of France, an architect of fragrance, to create new Royal-Oud for men and women.  Rare, hypnotic, sumptuous oud, an ingredient coaxed from Agarwood trees of India –- and more costly per ounce than palladium –- lends its power to this blend.  CREED Royal-Oud gives the contemporary American man and woman a touch of the splendor of palace life, Persian and Parisian™.  Yet CREED offers mindful and responsible luxury; part of proceeds from U.S. sales of Royal-Oud benefits child health in India via the nonprofit organization Global Giving (www.globalgiving.org).  Royal-Oud is owned by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, according to The Wall Street Journal.  It is also worn by members of six U.S. presidential families.

Classification:  Dry Woods / Rich

Characteristics:  Universal and modern. Luxury both Persian and Parisian™.

* Top Notes: A crown of Calabrian lemon, pink berry and Sicilian bergamot.
* Middle Notes: Cedar, galbanum and angelic root.
* Base Notes:  Regal Indian oud, sandalwood and Tonkin musk.

New Product Alert ~ Creed's Aventus ~ Now AVAIL!

By Miss Style Apothecary · July 23, 2010 · 0 Comments · 854 Views

Aventus
Olivier CREED, sixth-generation master perfumer of France, presents in America—before all other countries—his latest creation, called AVENTUS, a fragrance for men (and adored by women) honoring traits of strength, power, vision, and success.

CREED Aventus is inspired by the dramatic life of a great, historic emperor, who waged war, peace and romance on terms he set, riding to power on horseback. The superb ingredients of CREED Aventus become, in the hands of Olivier CREED, a worldly and must-have blend for the man or woman who treasures enduring value in fragrance.

Fruit-Rich and Fresh
Royal but never imposing, CREED Aventus is made with ingredients hand-selected worldwide by Erwin CREED, the seventh generation of CREED and its future head. Essences he chose were shipped to CREED's workshop in France, where father and son created the blend using hand production methods instituted at the founding of CREED in 1760. The result: a fragrance of stature and conquest.

Top notes: Finest black currant, Italian bergamot, Calville Blanc apples, and a burst of royal pineapple.

Middle notes: Exquisite roses with a complement of dry birch, Moroccan jasmine plus a hint of patchouli.

Base notes: Musk with a touch of oak moss for depth, then ambergris and a dab of vanilla.

The Aventus bottle is rugged black leather surrounding glass. The classic CREED "flask" design dates to the era of the king who inspired the fragrance. The silver emblem of horse and rider evokes unbounded adventure and spirit

New Product Alert ~ Creed's Aventus ~ coming in September

By Mr Traveler · June 18, 2010 · 1 Comment · 1,066 Views

The Aventus bottle is pure masculinity.  Sleek yet rugged black leather wraps the bottle.  The classic CREED “flask” design dates to the Napoleonic era.  The silver emblem of horse and rider evokes unbounded adventure and spirit.

Made for the self-made king and named for success itself, Aventus is created by hand from ingredients from the life and rise of Napoleon.

Top Note:        Blackcurrant from sunny Corsica, where Napoleon was born.  Bergamot from Italy, site of victories that made him famous.  Calville Blanc apples of France, where he rose to be emperor.  Royal pineapple, Napoleon’s favorite palace dessert.

Middle Note:        Napoleon Roses.  Louisana birch, the wood of his throne.  Jasmine from Egypt, where his empire reached.  Exotic patchouli, valued for scent -– and health.

Base Note:        Oak moss from Spain, which Napoleon conquered.  Ambergris from the seas, to show the strength of his navy.  Gourmand vanilla in the French style signals the touch of high living Napoleon enjoyed.

Creed Fragrances are in the Hamptons air....

By Miss Style Apothecary · April 26, 2010 · 0 Comments · 797 Views

If during your Hamptons revelry this spring you somehow break the 25 mile per hour Southampton speed limit, you may detect a refined Parisian aroma wafting from the local police.

That's because the CREED fragrance company , to celebrate its first spring in the Hamptons (at Saks Fifth Avenue in Southampton), has sent bottles of its superb blends -- including Royal Water, Original Santal and Virgin Island Water -- to the Southampton Village Police Department as a gesture of greeting to those whose selfless sacrifice keeps the community safe.

Bottles of fragrances from the 250 year-old CREED fragrance dynasty have been sent to the police chief and his top three officers.  CREED sent a supply of Silver Mountain Water samples to the rest of the force.  All of the fragrances are expected to arrive today.

How nice are the people over at Creed? I love the idea and the reach out to the community, Creed bringing their special fragrances to the public in a public service kind of way!!
