Frederic Malle's Lipstick Roae is a scent that is like no other, it's feminine and strong, I find that one spritz takes me from the AM into the evening with NO problem.. The scent of the rose is completely true and not diluted or artificial in any way.. It reminds me of the roses that my grandmother grew when I was a child.. I can vividly remember a scent that is so similar... If you live rose scents then you will fall in love with this.. I find that a little goes a long way and there isn't any need to douse myself.. I think this is a sweet feminine scent... It is not 100% rose though there are other components of warmth.. Lipstick Rose really envelops me and wraps itself around me, I don't detect any alcohol scent at all, it smells but and full of fragrance oils.. It's a real dream and the dry down is so delicate that it's deceiving because the initial spritz is very strong and heavy.. I love it! YUMMY and girly!
