I love fragrance but I hate when I walk by someone or jump in someones car and boom, perfume or cologne, the alcohol in them forces the fragrance out and it rides throughout the air so whomever the wearer is around can get knocked with a wall of scent and I really don't believe anyone want to have that strong of a scent.. Well, I know I don't!!!  So when given the opportunity to work Ambre Blends and bring their new scent  Unmasque to Style Apothecary, I was so excited, first off, in all seriousness, all of their scents are amazing, they smell SO good & I just love the company, they are caring wonderful people who just want to put out great products and are concocted of amazing blends..  Unmasque is no different, it's warm and inviting with a touch of a calming tranquility.. I love it..

Now, I apply in the AM, a roll on my wrist then rub together and bring up to my nape and rub in.. The scent is light and personal, so my scent will never arrive before I do.. If you want a whiff of Unmasque, then you have to come in a little closer for that, now this is the way we are supposed to wear fragrances... I do carry this with me too, I can't help it, I don't need to re-apply but I find myself reaching for the bottle a couple times per day and what I find really nice is when I re-apply it's not like the scent gets stronger at all, it just layers over, so I am not in fear of applying too much.. I don't need to do this, I found that on days I apply in the AM then get home in the PM, my wrists still have scent... So it's just me who finds the need for more.. I do always apply a little more when I am going out for the evening.. I have always done a little scent touch up and always will..

So, let me try and describe Unmasque to you.. As you can see from above the scent description, sometimes those don't equate to what my nose is picking up... For me, the scent is warm and delightful, feminine and light.. It's not flowery at all.. It's also got a clean sense to it, I know this all sounds strange but I really feel that scent is so personal and smells different everyone, so this is a toughie!! It's got that sensual, sexy vibe too that makes me just feel good wearing.. When others are given the chance to come in for a whiff, I always get compliments so its a keeper and I love it for the summer, it lightly carries in the wind by the water, mixing with the ocean air ROCKS!!

Makeup Addict says that Ambre Blends' Unmasque Pure Essence Oil is definitely a very pleasant and light fragrance.  I have to say that I can get that overpowering fragrance that Denise mentioned from oils as well as perfumes.  It depends on how much a person uses.  If they use it heavily I am very bothered by either.  However, luckily for me that has not been happening a lot recently.  I had almost stopped using one of my favorite fragrances as someone I know poured it on and it just jumped out at you and I was starting to dislike the fragrance because of that.  Once I got away from the situation it returned to my favorites.  Anyway, let me mention that this is just pure fresh and outdoorsy.  I am not a great person for picking up what the exact componenets are - but I DO know if I like it or not.  I love Ambre Blends' Unmasque Pure Essence Oil as it is a refreshing, yet sexy and feminine.  They actually have "Pure" in the name and that is part of my reason for lovin g it.  It does have that Pureness about it.  It does not announce you before you arrive.  But it does let those close to you enjoy its fragrance and I get different complements on it.  Some people notice the different notes to it -- but everyone loves it.  I find it stays with me and does die down a little by day's end -- but that is normal for mostly any fragrance.  I just need to reboot for the evening.  A extra drop for the evening does not overpower - but it does just give me that little extra umph I might be looking for. Ambre Blends' Unmasque Pure Essence Oil is a pleaser.  It is truly a very lovely fragrance to enjoy while wearing it.
