METSV says:   This was my first foray into this very popular cosmetics line from Stacey Schieffelin.  I actually hung around the HSN website and watched a video or two to "get to know her" so to speak.  She's awfully fun and knows her stuff, so I figured the mascara had to be good.  So, I'll start by saying I have blah lashes.  They're light, sparse, and stick straight out.  I envy girls (and boys) with awesome lashes.   I was at the dentist the other day and they hygienist who was cleaning my teeth had the most amazing eyelashes...I hate her.   I am one of those gals who will buy every mascara that comes on the market - volumizing, lengthening, vibrating, whatever - I buy it.  So many of them have ended up in the bottom drawer of shame... but I'm thinking this one will not go there because I found a way to make it work for me... For me, this mascara has a learning curve - I found that if I tried to overcoat my lashes I'd get clumps, but if I didn't do a couple of coats - though I'd have really glossy and dark lashes - they still didn't look va-voom.   Then I watched Stacey on her video and she talked about how she zig zags the mascara from base to tip to get a fluttery, curled effect...I thought...hmm...okay....after I tried that then I realized I had a good mascara on my hands.   I like that it is water resistant b/c my eyes tend to tear up during allergy season, but yet it's easy to remove.  For me, this mascara is a nice, soft day look.  My eyes look glossy, longer, and a really rich shade of black.  If I want to REALLY pump up the volume, I'll do a post application curl (I know this is frowned upon, but I do it anyway) and I'll apply a volumizing mascara on top of this one and THAT's when the party starts!   This mascara works great as a base too!  I found my lashes stayed curled longer using this as a base.    Like I said, I'm typically super picky and hard to please with mascara, so I'm glad that I found the right application that works for me b/c I really like the wand, the tube, and the formula.  I will be exploring this line further!
