Pretty Woman Perfume - formulated by Barbara Orbison (widow of Roy Orbison)
By the time Barbara married Roy, she had already formulated the type of fragrance she wanted to create. However, she became immersed in the music world, writing and producing and helping to manage their thriving music business. Those demands, plus raising two sons, required her to put her fragrance dream on hold until now.
As with all of her projects, Barbara has been intimately involved with every step in the development of Pretty Woman Perfume. She worked closely with noted perfumers to formulate a scent that bears her signature. It’s fresh, upbeat, sophisticated, ageless and timeless. She helped design the classic bottle which comes from France and worked tirelessly to bring Pretty Woman to market overseeing all the sales, marketing and promotion.
Makeup Addict thinks of Roy Orbison's 'Pretty Woman' whenever I hear the phrase Pretty Woman. It is so appropriate that his widow, Barbara, should come up with this wonderful Pretty Woman Perfume. I put it on and fell in love with it immediately -- usually I have to wait for a fragrance to dry down for a few seconds. First, this did not give off a whiff of alcohol -- it was just the incredible fragrance. Now, let me remind you -- I am not a perfumer nor a perfume expert -- I really do not judge perfumes by the notes (except when I know that it is one I adore). This perfume does not advertise it various notes which is fine for me. It comes in a very nice plain bottle with the name across it as shown above. It just has a very classic, classy appearance. The perfume is exactly the same -- classic and classy. I do not detect a very floral scent which is very nice as I am not too crazy for the heavy florals. I would describe it as clean and crisp -- a very fresh scent. It stays with me -- yet, it does not announce you before you arrive. I will wear Pretty Woman Perfume during any season and day or night. I find it appropriate for just about any occasion. It can be casual or sophisticated depending on your mood.
