Ali Says...Fun summer colors all loaded up in a precious gold clutch, what's more to love? LORAC did a great job pairing the perfect items for summer, bronzer, eye shadows and lip gloss all in sun kissed colors. My favorites item in the collection is the bronzer, baked face. While my typical "baked face" from a day out in the sun would be more a tomato color (I don't tan well), this bronzer provides the look I WISH I could get from a day in the sun. I use bronzer everyday. It's my go to for adding a little dimension to my face and making my fair skin pop. Most bronzers however, look like bronzers. You can tell that I've brushed on a fake tan. Only a few have wowed me, and LORAC's baked face is one of them. It looks so natural; like I was laying in the sun and get a slight tan. It add great dimension to my face which is think comes from the multi color palette. It's not one solid color, but a mixture of lights and darks. This helps makes the application look more natural and blends into my skin tone. It lasts ALL day and I've already been asked (just once, but asked nonetheless) if I had been tanning! Can't beat that. So moving on to the next fun items are the two eye shadows. Each shadow is actually a duo, two colors that look great together. The first is called Baked Eye, which is a light cream and dark choclatey brown. Perfect for a lighter base and darker highlights. I really like this duo because it is so versatile and can be used day or night. The other shadow duo is called, Tease Me, and includes a turquoise/teal color and bronze. I was skeptical at first as to how I would wear these two colors, but after trying a few different combinations, I found one that I love. Neither is as intense as I expected, so it doesn't look like you are wearing blue shadow, it's more of an ice blue color. Perfect for enhancing my blue eyes! Both shadow duos provide the perfect amount of shimmer. Not too much where people say, WOAH, that girl is wearing some serious shimmer, but just enough to be classy. The final product is the Hot Off the Red Carpet Collection is the 3D Multiplex lip gloss. While the color and shine are really great, the stickiness of this gloss brings down it's overall rating for me. I understand LORAC may be going for an all day stay, however, it was far too sticky for my liking. It really did look 3D-esque with all the shine, and sparkle, though. To top off this collection, while not a product for wearing, is the gold clutch. This can be used as a make-up case or even for a night out on the town, maybe even the red carpet!!!
