From the Arabian Nights Collection, Oud is an extremely rare and precious oil found in Agarwood, the resinous heartwood of the Aquilaria tree from southeast Asia. The oil itself is dark in coloration and has a complex scent, being warm and woody, yet strongly animalistic at the same time. Makeup Addict adores Kilian Incense Oud Eau de Parfum. This is like a magical perfume -- and the funny thing is that I wasn't really sure I wanted to try it.  I did not recognize most of the scents included.  Thank goodness I went for it.  Let me warn you - be prepared for compliments and wonderful comments when you have it on.  It is not overpowering and does not announce you before you arrive.  But it lets people know you are there!!  They say it is a complex scent and that it is mysterious -- all true.  I was going to pass it up as I did not recognize any of the scents as my favorites.  Thank goodness common sense prevailed and I tried it.  Wow!  One whiff and I knew I was addicted.  I wear it during the day using a very light touch on the sprayer.  However, for the evening I want to surround myself in it -- without going overboard so I add just a little heavier spray.  Kilian Incense Oud Eau de Parfum reminds me of what Cleopatra or Delilah may have used.   It is goddess-like.  I keep my Kilian Incense Oud Eau de Parfum with all of my precious belongings as that is what it is - precious!!!!  Hey, if I told you it smells like the Aquilaria tree - would that help you???  I doubt it.  I also believe that every scent gives off a slightly different fragrance depending on the user.  So, try it for yourself - you will be amazed!!!
