There is a good reason that Kerastase is one of the most luxurious hair care lines in the world and loved by professional stylists everywhere.   With a line of products for every hair type, Kerastase succeeds by including vital nutrients in their products that add, health, shine, body, and brilliance to your hair.  The volume line is centered around those of us with fine or thin hair that needs an extra "oomph".  Ahem..that'd be me.  The problem with a lot of styling products and mousse inparticular is that although they are meant to add body or volume, they end up being so heavy as to have the opposite effect - and I'm left with kind of a lifeless doo that in no way could take me into the next day were I not able to wash my hair.  Not so with Kerastase.  This mousse is light as air and literally disappears as soon as you run it through your hair - you can barely feel it in there - but then take your blowdryer to your hair, flip your head over, then flip it back - you will be amazed at the bounce and body your hair has!  Imagine that - great body without a heavy, dull feeling.    The Bain Volumactive mousse doesn't rob your hair of shine either (again, for me, alot of other mousses tend to leave my hair dull looking.)  You don't need a huge dollop - a small palmful is plenty to do my whole head, so you're also getting good bang for your buck.  If you've never tried any products from the Kerastase line, you really, really ought to.  There's a reason why we deemed this mousse as a gotta get....take our advice and go get!  GREAT stuff.

Makeup Addict is in love with Kerastase - Bain Volumactive Mousse --  it is positively incredible.  Just wanted to share an endorsement I just read on this product.  Harry Fosh, International Creative Consultant for John Frieda, who does Gisele's color among an unbelievable list of celebrities picked his choices for various products in Glamour.   Mostly he gave a simple endorsement.  However, for Kerastase - Bain Volumactive Mousse-- he went on to say "for curly, straight, fine or thick hair, it's the best light styling lotion, period."   I am glad to see that such an expert agrees with my appraisal!!
