Cakedoo1 says... When I first read about the Kahina Giving Beauty line, I was intrigued by the connection the founder Katharine Phillips L’Heureux had to the Berber woman of Morocco and the fact that this line is inspired by them and to top it off Katharine give back to them to help and support them is AMAZING! This is the kind of skincare that makes a difference in the users lives then makes differences down the line to the women who inspired it's birth. The eye cream is lovely, it's rich and emollient and does a great job of moisturizing my delicate eye area without overdoing it, just enough moisture so I can wear makeup with no slippage and keep the fine lines plumped up too. The formula is very light, almost whipped gel like consistency. It does have a little fragrance, not perfumy, more of a natural scent that I only know it when put to my nose and sniff, I can't smell it when I apply and it's very gentle too, no adverse reactions at all.. Immediately after applying and absorbing in, when I run my fingertips over the applied area my skin feels velvety soft and smooth.. Since using there have been no signs of any flaking... Also let me let you my little secret that works wonderful, I keep this in the refrigerator so when I am ready to apply I am applying a nice and cool product, it feels amazing in the heat of the summer heat and I swear this completely helps with puffiness.. I also put a little on my lips and get great moisture for the base of my lip gloss which some can be very drying. I have thoroughly enjoyed my Kahina experience and think the eye cream works really well for me.. When making a decision to purchase skincare, I highly encourage a stop over to the Kahina Giving Beauty site, it's just that good!! One more thing this seems like the kind of line Angelina Jolie would just eat up and want more, more, more!
