Ali Says...I've been using the John Frieda Go Blonder Lightening Shampoo and Conditioner for a few weeks now, and I am happy with the results. In the first few days I noticed a difference, which was impressive. The conditioner, which has most of the same active ingredients as the shampoo, left my hair feeling extra soft. I love running my fingers through my hair after using this conditioner. My hair also had a great sheen/shine to it, not fake looking, but healthy and full of moisture. There was no drying either, which people may think since it is lightening the hair, but since there is no hydrogen peroxide, it is a more natural way of lightening. The scent is really fresh as well. Both the citrus and the chamomille can be smelled, but neither are overpowering. I only used one of the two product 2-3 days per week as not to overdue the lightening. Since I've hit three weeks, I'm happy with the color of my hair and my hold off on using the conditioner and shampoo for a while. It's really helpful though, that a color difference can be seen so quickly. I am a natural blond, so the results I saw was on my natural color. I'm not sure how this conditioner would affect color treated hair, however, the packaging indicates it can be used on both. Definitely worth a try to get lighter strands at home!
