Makeup Addict thought I had the most gentle exfoliaters but now I have to add one more - envie De neuf Gentle Exfoliating Gel II right up at the top of the list!!  I am at a loss as to how it can be so gentle -- yet so effective.  envie De neuf Gentle Exfoliating Gel II is a clear gel with no beads or seeds, etc. to enable it to exfoliate but exfoliate it does -- and it does it exceedingly well.  I found it to be fragrance free -- if there is a scent -- it is so slight I could not detect it.  It even feels good being applied -- sort of a nice cooling sensation.  When you rinse it off your skin is new, fresh, clean, soft, and beaming!!  Other product that have similar results required bead, seeds, and were a lot rougher on my skin. envie De neuf Gentle Exfoliating Gel II leaves no pink or red skin -- only the improved skin and a really glowing look.  I use as little of any product as possible to have the product last.  .  .  I did the same with this.  Only a small dab does the job and leaves your skin ready and prepped for whatever next step you use.

cakedoo1 says.. Hip, hop hurray for an exfoliant that doesn't do a number on my skin, any peels or scrubs usually reap havoc on my face. My skin looks burned, red and scratched.. This is superbly gentle and the exfoliation is so gradual that there is absolutely NO down time or should I say recovery time.. I can use and just keep on going. My skin has a new fresh faced look.. The look that a facial gives without all the prodding and poking. This is the going to the party look I want and I can have it all the time. I apply with a fan brush and as Makeup Addict mentioned really no scent so I am not smelling any perfuminess at all. It's comfortable on too, it doesn't dry down to a tight mask, it just does its thing and rinse. I rinse using a soft wash cloth, it comes right off with not left over residue either.. I am using 2x a week, the first week 3x.. I am going to continue with the 2x. I haven't had any sensitivity or redness, virtually no residue YEAH!

lilmissashley says...Not to reiterate what was already said but… I loved this gel!! When I heard the word exfoliating, I immediately pictured a gel that had little rough beads in it. However, this gel did not have the usual beads that scrap your face…it was really nice.  As you scrub, you find that the gel develops the small little beads that cleanse your face. I am still young and I sometimes get some acne. After I had used this product for a few weeks, my acne noticeably got better! I was so happy to see this and I am absolutely in love with a product that allows my skin to clear up! It didn’t make my face oily or greasy either, just soft and beautiful!  I just squired a couple drops onto my hand and it worked amazingly! The only problem that I have with this product is that my tube is almost gone!!  I would highly recommend this product to anyone who loves face cleansers ( like me!)
