Miss Style Apothecary says... OK, pale is not the word that I use to describe myself, UBER pale is more like it.. My skin doesn't like the sun, so I am always the only one rocking no color all summer.. So having said that you have to understand that I am an avid sunscreen user.. I not only wear all summer but every season.. I am telling you I can be outside under a tree and my skin STILL gets burned.. UGH, so I am ALWAYS on the quest for the latest and greatest in SPF coverage and the higher the better... Enter Algenist...

My first impression was this is a very lightweight fluid, just like the name, it's DEAD on.. The fluid is an opaque white that has no scent! YEAH! So, right off the bat I knew I could work with it.. I prefer the lightweight formula, it's easy to dispense and quickly absorbs into my skin AND it doesn't leave my face all super shiny and looking like I just lubed up, it actually dries down to a natural finish so if I was ever to leave the house cosmetic free I could.. I also found that using with my other skincare products worked really well.. I use eye cream, serum, Algenist then a primer then my makeup... I can attest that my makeup stays in place and no slippage from the Algenist addition..

I have been wearing for just about 3 weeks and my skin hasn't had any adverse reactions, sometimes a trial needs a few weeks to make sure it's right for me and so far so GREAT.. I can't even detect it's there.. I would say that I have used a little over 1/2 of the bottle so the price for an SPF that doesn't CLOG my pores and cause a breakout is WORTH it to me.. I also have had great results with my skin not getting pink or burned... It works for me and I am ghostlike so, if you are looking for a product to block out the RAY, this works really well!
